Welcome to Microsoft Excel 2016 Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). VBA is Microsoft’s powerful development tool for creating macros in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. This course is intended to help all intermediate to advanced users get up to speed quickly with Visual Basic for Applications. The course covers the different features of the Visual Basic Editor interface; shows users how to record, edit, debug, and manage macros and learn about the syntax that VBA uses to create macros.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Create, record, edit, and debug a macro
Format worksheets using macros
Create interactive worksheets
Perform custom calculations using VBA
This course is intended for intermediate to advanced Excel 2016 users who would like to get up to speed with Visual Basic for Applications.
Prerequisites
Students who attend this course should have the following knowledge:
Basics of using a Windows-based computer
Using the Microsoft Excel 2016 interface
Understanding of how Excel works and what it is used for
Understanding and experience with formulas, functions, and PivotTables within Excel 2016
