Instructor Policy
- RESPONSIBILITES
1.1. Instructor must be connected to the virtual training environment one hour prior to class start time on the first day of each training week. For any subsequent days, the instructor must be connected at least 30 minutes prior to class start time.
1.2. Subcontractor will deliver high quality training classes to Contractor’s clients with a goal of achieving an average rating of 4.0 or higher with a guarantee of a minimum instructor evaluation rating of 3.5 on a scale of 1 to 5 where 5 is “outstanding”.
1.3. Ensure Daily register of the student’s attendance as required by Learningit.today
1.4. Ensure students are on track with daily exercises
1.5. Don’t leave any question unanswered regarding the topic. In the event of parking a question, ensure that the answer is researched and provided prior to closing the session
1.6. Ensure students complete their evaluation at the end of each course
1.7. Update daily progress reports for students and complete the Evaluation for each student on each course
1.8. Ensure your courseware is available prior to your training and you are familiar with the topic layout and agenda
1.9. Familiarise yourself with the online tools available for yourself and your students prior to training
1.10. Should you / your students experience technical challenges, please send an email to your Learningit.today representative immediately (include screen shots and detailed explanations for efficient troubleshooting)
1.11. Represent Learningit.today with values and ethics ensuring our students are ready to apply to their knowledge with utmost confidence
1.12. In the event of a failed delivery where the client refuses to pay the Contractor, the Contractor shall not be required to pay the Instructor. In the event of partial payment by the client, payment to the Instructor will be prorated based upon monies received and the original contract price. Any additional expense above & beyond this agreement will not be reimbursed unless approved in advance by the Contractor.
- PAYMENTS
2.1. Please note, delays with the above reports will result in delay with payments until reports are fully submitted.
2.2. Ensure payment terms are agreed upfront for each project.
2.3. Banking days are on the last day of the month, and we process payments 30 days after invoice unless otherwise agreed.
2.4. Special emergency payments can be requested, here we will request a 2.5% discount as an admin fee to support special banking arrangement. For this we request your updated invoice with the discount.
2.5. Payment can be expedited in currency as per approved South African Reserve Bank regulations.
2.6. Quotes and Invoices to be provided as official documentation for payment processing.
2.7. If the instructor was unable to complete the training, and if there is any penalty from the customer due to trainer incapacity, Learningit.today will pass through the cost for the training expense and any other costs related to rectification which will affect the final amount paid
- STUDENT COMMUNICATION
3.1 All Communication regarding student administration, registration and concerns are to be directed to the Learningit.today Office.
3.2 All queries from students related to matters outside of the course content are to be directed to the Learningit.today Office.
3.3 All learning content and sharing during class may be facilitated through the chat tool.
3.4 All technical challenges need to be reported to the Learningit.today office for corrective measures to escalate.
3.4 Instructors are NOT to distribute personal or collect private email addresses from students.
3.5 Instructors are NOT allowed to distribute any confidential information and material from Learningit.today, our Partners and our Vendors without explicit consent.
3.6 All Instructor training images, files and content are for the sole use of the delivery of the said program at the specified date and may not be distributed otherwise unless approved by Learningit.today.
